- Hemorrhagic shock
- Coagulopathy/DIC
- Uterine rupture
- Renal failure
- Ischemic necrosis of distal organs (eg, hepatic, adrenal, pituitary)
Fetal complications :
- Hypoxia
- Anemia
- Growth retardation
- CNS anomalies
- Fetal death
